To use Spell-Check and Auto-Complete for Afrikaans, you need to have the Language Pack Installed.

If you just want to do spellcheck, use swiftkey keyboard and install Afrikaans

No option for Afrikaans natively on iOS.

But you can however have it in the GBoard or Swiftkey keyboards.

macOS has a afrikaans option, not sure why iOS won't.
