But now that does leaves the question, in two years time will they come up with a new pricing stratigy as you will have a mix of people who do and don't have modems. I still think it's stupid that they don't offer a choice now, but anyway .....

I dont know if you have a cellphone contract, but you get to keep the cellphone. After your contract ends, well, with cellphones you can just continue on montly basis. From my understanding of sentech. After 24 months, your service contimnes. You could probably renew your service (as with cellphone) and get a new modem, thought I think that's harder to do with sentech than mtn
So nothing cheaper thought. So best option is to somehow renew the contract after 2 years, and then you have a brand new modem
Ofcourse, if they tell me I cannot. Then I will close my account.
