Age Difference

I know it was asked for a specific age, but acceptable age differences are definitely age dependant. Someone mentioned 10 years being acceptable but if you were 20 that would make the youngest limit 10, a definite no go. However, if you were 55 then it would not be at all unreasonable to have a relationship with someone of 45.

I know if I was a 55 year old man I'd be more than happy with a 25 year old chick! ha ha but then not sure what her friends and family would think of it. Besides we all know that I would only be in it as she is a trophy and she would only be in it for something else (eg money, daddy figure or similar...)

At 20 I reckon the cut off would be 18 youngest and oldest, realistically, would be 25. Anyone older than this might work as a fling but unless you are a mature 20 then the age difference (ie maturity) is going to rear it's head eventually. As you get older you can probably add two years for each year you age.

So you think girls in the 21 - 25 age bracket will consider a 20 year old guy?

i dont think that a 25 year old girl would even consider going for a 20 year old guy. For the guy it would be fantastic, she might have more knowledge about certain things and hey, there will be lots of fun, but i dont think it'll work.

as for the first question, i'd say, dont go any lower than 16. I'm 20 and i'd definetly would not go below the age of 16.

Get yourself a grade 11, 12 or a first year student :)

Some perhaps.... she may like a clean slate to work with and "teach" ;)

But yeah, that is why I added with my 55/25 example that it may look appealing from one perspective but not from the other person's. There would need to be ulterior motives as far as I am concerned...

Great quote from Metalocalypse:

MILF and GILF has always been used incorrectly in this context if you ask me....

I know of a couple of 21 year olds that have a child, so that would make them MILFs but in the age group the OP would find acceptable. And at 35 someone could be a GILF...

I think we should rather use ages and not references to these terms.

If I have to gauge the "childishness" of a 20 year old male, I'd say 13-16 and rather sticking with it. I've seen some guys, all grown up, act like children.

I'd say 10 years either way. But will frown if you start dating a 10 year old...

Use the 5year rule from 16 up so if she is 16 you can be 21 and if she turns 17 you would be 22 and so on untill she turns 18 and you are 23. 18 and 23 then does not seem so bad. 20 dating 16 is fine just don't fall inlove because girls at that age change guys like they change shoes. I would say if you are 20 get a girl that is 20 or 21 for love because any thing below 20 normally will not last. 21 up chicks know what they want. 16 year olds are just for fun... If you are 20 and in a band or have a car.

guys, there has been a scientific study done on this and the official rule is "a half plus 7 rounded down" take your age divide it by 2 and add 7, so for a 20yr old it would be 17, 25yr would be 19, and 40 would be 27, it works pretty well :D

My mother was engaged to my father before she wrote her matric exams. She was 17 at that stage. My father was 27.

They only got married more than a year later. And I, the eldest, were only born 6 years later.

Well the rule if I remember correctly is:

lower limit - divide by 2 plus 7

Top limit - minus 7 multiplied by 2

Only valid from 14 onwards...
