Hello!
I believe that Esquire, in Durban stocks some AGP cards, but I'm not sure of the exact ones. I know AGP is outdated, but I am happy with my Pentium 4, windows 7 system, save for the graphics. I have read the previous posts on getting an Esquire personal account, but I have tried and have not had a response from them unfortunately. Is there anyone else in Durban that stocks an AGP graphics card and what are they aking for it ?

Thank you for your replies and pm and sorry for the late response, there was a power failure here in Durban! I will send in the pm AND email. Thank you.

If you haven't come right.

I can get you a Nvidia MX4000 AGP 8X 64MB DDR With TV-Out for R251 (which is my lowest price). Delivery will be R99 unfortunately. Also, I'm not making a cent on the sale.

Let me know,
tera

Best bet would be to go for ATI as they have more powerful cards available in AGP than nVidia.

I won't disagree with you at all. It's unfortunate that I only have the Nvidia's available, but I think the market for AGP is quite small, so that's why suppliers don't tend to stock up on these cards.

Understood. I have a AGP card lying in my drawere but I have no intention of parting with it as it comes in handy on the odd occasion.

Thank you and your prices do sound reasonable. I would like to wait a bit for a response from Esquire, but once again, thanks to all of you who responded to this thread. Got to leave work now,...

Update : Okay, a big thanks to Esquire for their fast service, I now have an account with them, just hoping the online store reg will go through, they certainly do stock some interesting stuff, including AGP.
