AGP showing as PCI

This is one of those "where the hell can i actually post this thread". Well seeing as I always post here and there is no real section for this question here it will stay.

I recently purchased a new graphics card to assist in my bro's "ADSL" gaming. but it shows for some unknow reason is a PCI card. It is a 8x AGP board and a 8x AGP FX5700LE 256meg version. Who do i get the system to recognise it as a AGP card?

yeah, got the latest chipset drivers and updated the bios, strange. don't think it is a problem as was still getting 2500 2003 3d marks(think that is about right for the card

I remember having a similar problem. If i recall correctly, i think it was my TV card that was somehow confusing the issue, i uninstalled the TV card, then stuck in the graph card, then reinstalled the tv card & all was well.
