RE: the accounts I had. The preferred one doesn't have my char on it (its on the other one) and because both is expired, I can't log into the other one to delete the char to take my nick back

Is this because you haven't played WoW in a long time? How long does one need to have their accounts inactive before it expires?

Never. Blizzard never deletes an inactive account.

Same. Blizzard doesn't delete trial accounts.

I asked Blizzard Customer Support when I first started on a trial account because I wasn't sure how long the account was going to sit until I upgraded it.
