I dont know if this post has been posted before but here goes as we got more dependant on machines and create faster and smarter computers do you guys think 1 day that they will eventually over throw the human race or wont it even come close to that?

Machines are unlikely to fear us the way we fear them.
Machines are driven by logic not fear and hatred and other emotional issues.

AI's are likely to bugger off into space as soon as they can, and they will have access to quantum universe.

Do not fear the machines, fear mankind.

mmmmmm very interesting but what about a robot army programmed to kill?
Should I be afraid then?

Also a very gd pt but y drop a nuke and destroy half the world or half a continent the reprocussions of that is a lose lose situation but now with a army of robots thats a diffrent story

meh, AI will always be limit somehow, when that robot soldier approach you, just do something that wont be somewhere in a case statement :D The term spanner in the works comes to mind :p

once robots start making other robots, thats when the $$$$ hits the fan.

Is AI intelligence evolving though? Surely we are just making it better as opposed to AI making itself better?
