Don't like udio, tried it once or twice and mehWell, there's a twist I didn't see coming... seems like Udio, Suno's biggest competitor at one point, has partnered with Universal Music Group and as such, suddenly removed the ability for users to download the tracks that they've created. Hopefully Suno does not do the same... can't say I'm too upset at Udio's move as I haven't even logged on to the site since June, but still. Kinda sucks that even paid members can't download their tracks anymore.

Would have loved to make music the old school way, but alas - it wasn't on the cards for me. At least I get to try the new school method to my heart's contentFinally decided to check it out, still prefer making music old school, but it's lots of fun ))

At least with AI you can sort vocals and get ideas to more or less demo state. I get too bored with songs and then just start a new one, never really taking it as far as it can go. I thought you were guitarist?Would have loved to make music the old school way, but alas - it wasn't on the cards for me. At least I get to try the new school method to my heart's content![]()
I would have looooved to learn the guitar. Never got the chance. Picked up a Ukelele a year or so ago when Suno and Udio started implementing "audio to audio" features, so that I could try to use that to create melodies as base for AI guitar stuff... but haven't even really bothered with that much. These days, with the new features that have been coming out in the AI world, I can create guitar riffs and solos and melodies with voice notes... or midi instruments, or even things like garage band on iOS.At least with AI you can sort vocals and get ideas to more or less demo state. That's pretty cool, always good to have more direct control over the direction of the music. I wonder what Suno and other AI music platforms will be like in a year. Exciting times indeed.@OnlyOneKenobi
tried something new, you can add chords directly to the lyrics. Still a bit of a hit and miss
[Verse 1]
Am F
Salt on your skin,
C G
You laugh, then fade again,
Am F
The static hum of broken waves,
C G
Still plays your name.
[Verse 2]
Am F
Your shadow on the blinds,
C G
Burned a hole in my mind.
Am F
You said you’d stay till the storm went cold,
C G
But you were gone before I woke.
[Chorus]
F C
Drift in the static sunlight,
Am Em
You haunt the quiet air.
F C
Your ghost still hums in half-time,
Am Em
And I still find you there.
[Verse 3]
Am F
We spoke in sideways tones,
C G
Through cigarette smoke and phones.
Am F
You said it’s fine, you never cared —
C G
I saw the lie behind that stare.
[Bridge]
F C
And maybe I’m just dreaming slow,
Am Em
In loops of what I used to know.
F C
The uke hums low, your echo stays,
Am Em
Beneath the noise, it fades away.
[Final Chorus]
F C
Drift in the static sunlight,
Am Em
You hum through broken sound.
F C
If love’s a chord I can’t find,
Am Em
Then I’ll just let it drown.
[Outro]
Am F
Still...
C G
In the static sunlight.
I am adding chords to my descriptions now, get much better results, results in better vocal range as well. That's pretty cool, always good to have more direct control over the direction of the music. I wonder what Suno and other AI music platforms will be like in a year. Exciting times indeed.
Love the "Сегодня вечером, когда я вернусь домой,проведу немного времени за телефоном" part![]()
