Hey.
As the video title says, it's not a cry for help. I have my issues and needed an out so I thought this up.Hey.
I can empathise, but honestly - just stick it out a bit longer... things will get better. They have to.
Yeah, I saw the title. Creativity definitely does help with working through issues, so keep it up.As the video title says, it's not a cry for help. I have my issues and needed an out so I thought this up.
The idea was a haunt about what it feels like when I am in that position.
YouTube wouldn't let me upload the 32 seconds at the end.

I am working on the eulogy next.

Yep, I prefer the remix too.Tried my persona again this time it did it right
Like this version more, bit darker more modern beat.
Pretty fun playing with vocal runs.....pretty much getting a crash course of all the interesting stuff to do and try. Thought there is still a issue with the song.....final bridge where it says silence would have liked a longer pause there, to emphasise the silence bit and the abrupt end of the song is a bit of an issue.....Yep, I prefer the remix too.
I've been struggling to get the duets working. My "Within the Endless night" has to be a duet to fully appreciate the dialogue between the two inner selves. It is okay.
A little playful pop song with the persona, figured out how to get duets going, perfectly. Tag the shyte out of the lyrics, and line by line. Quite like the "poppy" step in this one, I think it is pretty much perfect

(Both)
Ba da ba, ba-da-da-da – just our little game again
Ba da ba, ba-da-da-da – can’t believe we still pretend
[Chorus 1 – Female lead, Male responds]
(Female – )
You say I'm late and I laugh like it's nothing
(Male –)
You burn the toast and call it gourmet
(Together – harmony)
And yet somehow, we're perfect in our way
Only you could say that… and I’d still wanna stay
[Verse 1 – Male lead]
(Male –)
You dance like a record with a scratch in the groove
Trip on your heels, but you call it a move
And you sing off-key with conviction and style
But girl, that nonsense makes me smile
[Chorus 2 – Both, alternating lines]
(Female)
You talk too much when the movie begins
(Male)
You scroll your phone when I’m pouring my sins
(Together)
But somehow, we still find a way
Only we could mess up love… and still feel okay
[Verse 2 – Female lead]
(Female – jazzy tone, sly phrasing)
You leave your socks where I trip every time
And your rhymes never rhyme when you try to be kind
But you listen when silence is all that I need
So I guess you’re my chaos, and I’m your peace
[Chorus 3 – Male & Female together, close harmonies]
We bicker and banter and ruin the punchlines
We blur out the moments but treasure the signs
And love’s not tidy, it’s foolish and free
But only you could say that… and still mean it sweetly
[Verse 3 ]
(Male)
You hum the wrong tune
You talk over jazz
You name all our plants
You lose all our cash
But somehow we’re dancing in mismatching shoes
Still picking each other, with nothing to lose
[Chorus 4 – Both ]
We kiss like it’s rain in the middle of May
We argue, then cuddle the nonsense away
And if love is a circus, we’re clowns in the ring
Only you could say that… and still make me sing
[Verse 4 – Spoken word + singing, soft breakdown]
(Male – )
You know, they say love fades...
(Female – )
But you still look at me like it’s day one.
(Male – )
Even if we fumble every line we rehearse
(Female –)
It’s our imperfect song, and it could be worse
[Final Chorus – Both, ]
We trip, we laugh, we stumble through rhymes
We say the wrong thing at the worst of times
But darling, there's magic in our little play
Only you could say that… and I’d still wanna stay
(OUTRO Alternating Lines)
Only you… could say thaaat…
And still make me staaay…
