AIDS testing

Can I just categorical state for the record that PeterCH and myself do not see eye to eye on many things, we have had vehement disagreements and we look at this life from complete different points of view. And this won't change in the near future.

PeterCH, you have my heartfelt thanks for the way you have handled this thread and the information you have supplied. You have my admiration for the manner in which you have responded and my gratitude for living up to the sub-forum's name. I applaud you.

This will not win you any free rides when next we clash in PD. I just wanted to put it out there.

People like Arbiter piss me off more than the YECists. I can still talk to them. But when I start typing gibberish in response to the likes of this OP, I know I better delete before I submit. Else I wouldn't have last as long as I have.

Hats off Petey. Screw you Arbiter.

Ah of course, an AIDS denialist. Shame on you for that bit of abuse. Anyone who questions the general AIDS consensus is an AIDS denialist, regardless of what they bring to the table. I don't really blame you though.

The politics of science are filthier than even the politics of religion and your career certainly hangs in the balance. And if you studied medicine because it was your "calling", you've certainly discovered that you wouldn't get very far with any proof that might question the general contention of something as big as AIDS.

I've seen that bit of science before. Don't talk down to me.

Peter, did you even bother to read the links I gave where they found that subjects with TB caused false positive results in the Western Blot tests? Mycobacterial infections causing antibody response to HIV antigens? Both ELISA and Western Blot use similar methods that can be tricked by non-HIV responses. CD4+ count, as we've seen, is by no means a sufficient indicator for HIV or AIDS.

As for mentioning Malaria; you yourself said that increased CD38 expression is a sign of increased immune response in HIV. And that the more the immune system responds, the worse the end result is. Acute Malaria also has increased CD38 expression.

So the "hyper stimulation of the immune system caused by HIV" might actually be Malaria or one of the many other illnesses prevalent in Africa. Add that to the malaria "vaccines" they give the kiddies in Africa and you've got even more conditions for an AIDS-like problem to develop.

As for the viral load, the interpretation differs. Last time I checked you required only one viral band in Africa to be HIV positive.

Here're some false positive viral load tests.

Something else

Tommy Morrison, the boxer that tested HIV positive for years, banned from boxing and then tested negative and is now boxing again. Odd.

And the slums in Africa use the PCR test by the masses do they? No specialized environment? They heat it with coals and cool it with voodoo?

Have you ever been into the darker spots of Africa? Ever had acute Malaria? Have you been on the other side of the looking glass, doctor that you are?

We can go back and forth, batting sources and studies like tennis balls. But no proof would ever be enough. Because sometimes proof isn’t enough.

Like a herd of sheep circled by wolves, no one wants to take the plunge with the risk that the rest of the herd will sit and watch. Especially with the carcasses of Peter Duesberg-types lying around.

You'd have documented proof, accurate long term studies regarding the HIV-AIDS link, or the immunosuppresing side effects of ART and of the amount of false positives, and you'd probably burn it all. Because it wouldn't change a thing, regardless of whether it was true or not.

There’s simply no market for studies questioning AIDS consensus.

Stopping HIV ART actually kills people:

I believe our friend is an AIDS denialist - I would suggest you ignore him because he's just posting nonsense. No personal offense to him but he doesn't know what he's talking about.

I quickly realized that.

Back in the late 80's I also questioned the HIV-AIDS link, hard to believe that was 20 years ago.

I'm going to let you handle the debunking, I just don't have time anymore.

Well said, and may I echo your sentiments: in other words "+1". ;)
