After playing WoW since it started, I took the plunge and got Aion. Initially, it was quite enjoyable, enjoyed the superior modelling etc. lovely cities. I've only lvled my toon to 28, but, for me, the thrill has already gone. The few low lvl instances were underwhelming to say the least. I've now left and started giving Blizzard my hard-earned cash again. Perhaps I should have waited until I reached a higher level before quitting, but it really became more of a chore than anything else. I spent a lot of time trying to get groups together to do group quests/instances, far too long for someone who has limited time to game. Going back to Azeroth now that I have something to compare it to has been great. So for me, Aion has not been a great success.

I also gave up, once I realised it was a major grindfest,I lost all motivation to play the game.

WoW is just as bad if you ask me,tired of the PvE grind to be honest.

I played Aion for a month before leaving. There's isn't anything glaring wrong about it, but overall, the entire game is slower than WoW, which is why I lost interest in it.

I enjoyed Aion it was diffrent to WoW which I have been playing since vanilla days. Just finding WoW boring at the moment just logging in to do daily's and raids thats it nothing more and even that is irritatingly boring

Aion is nothing innovative, nothing new, nothing fun and has such a bland story. I stopped playing that utter tripe after 15 days.

like ****ed-up-wow-for-the-*****-players are any better. wow vinilla was brilliant then it just went downhill when blizzard decided to make everything easier and easier.

wow faster leveling
wow faster regen
wow quicker mounts and now avalible on lower levels
wow sex changes
wow faction change
wow most actual achievent was dropped and removed

Dragon Age: Origins beats wow Hands Down... to me :)

Dragon Age is the first single player game in about 3 years that I actually finished. I actually dont want to log on raid days because I would rather play it again :p

Im also keeping an eye on 3 mmo's currently. Star Wars, GW2 and another I cant recall the name of (made by gpotato).
