SNMP is just used to gather the information, what they are pushing here is event correlation and using very over used words like machine learning and AI to make it sound fancy.
But its not renaming SNMP to AIOPS.

The stuff they claim to do is present in most SNMP pollers. Event correlation has been around since HP Network Node Manager.

My point is that Silicon Valley companies market common functionality that have been in existence for years as new features.

Simple Yes/No will do.
