one of those small compressors used in the car for inflating tyres, also work well to give your pc a 'blowjob'
even those cheapie blowers to inflate swimming pool gadgets, camping beds also work very well
i have a loose 12V lead acid battery, from UPS, to run it. when it gets low on juice, stick back in the UPS and recharge

I just use my wife's hairdryer. Just set it to the coldest setting and fire it off in short bursts.
