Which do you think would make a better temporary mattress? I'm a fan of the foldable foams but don't recall trying an air mattress. I imagine it's similar to a pool bed?

These pillows are a load of horse hooey.

I can't sleep on these things. I've had one for almost 2 years and after countless nights I've yet to sleep through a whole night on one.

Two years and you haven't thought of changing it? :erm:

Uhm, no.

I have a multitude of other pillows. It's just that I've given the pillow in this picture a number of fair tries with no win for the pillow.

Foldables are more comfortable, but take up more storage space than inflatables.

Phew. Thought you haven't had a good night's sleep in almost two years. That would've explained your cantankerous attitude :p

Uhm, well, I have been having a problem with severe sleep apnea in which I haven't had a good night's rest for the last number of (many) years.

The only remedy for my situation is large-scale facial reconstruction preceded by years of orthodoncy. I have a small lower jaw. That should say it all.

Air. Foam mattress is very thin and flimsy, and does not give much support. If its a temp thing, then get an air mattress.

Go to a foam factory, they normally in the business of repairing furniture too. Ask for high density foam, which is called chip-foam, they come in various grades of hardness, choose to suit. The beauty is that a piece of foam of merely 50mm thick will support your weight comfortably, and you can request any size custom made.
