Gen. Gagiano admitted last night on the radio that the 2nd aircraft did indeed follow the BBJ to New York.
Shame on you okes for lying to the South African people and saying the "Planes spotters" info is not correct.......

Not to add more fuel to the fire.......
Why was a SAA A340-200 also seen at Las Palmas on Jan 10, the same day.

The A342 departed as SAA2205 about an hour before the BbJ departed and once the BBJ was Bout halfway from Las Palmas to New York it returned to SA. About 3 hours after the A342 arrived back in SA the GLEX departed to New York via Las Palmas arriving there at 16h30 on Thursday and then departed New York just after 19h00 a few minutes after the BBJ departed on the way home...
 
This is beginning to look more and more like the flying version of a blue light brigade. I can just see a Boeing with two jets, blue lights flashing in front and a black plane with lots of chrome at the back. A bloody circus.
