Might depend on the smart watch. If you're using an Apple Watch you're out of luck. What type is it?I'm thinking of porting my MTN number to Afrihost. Can I get an eSIM for my smartwatch and link it to the same number as my phone like I'm currently doing on MTN?
No that's only for contracts
sign up a new eSIm with new number and test before you commit to a port.Samsung Galaxy Watch 5 Pro is not on Afrihost list of approved devices. Does that mean it won't work at all, or just that it hasn't been tested? I'm currently using the watch eSIM on MTN.
Done and it works fine. Too bad I can't share my main number with the watch, but given MTNs data prices I can live with it.sign up a new eSIm with new number and test before you commit to a port.
I agree with you there.Done and it works fine. Too bad I can't share my main number with the watch, but given MTNs data prices I can live with it.
Only allowing shared numbers on MTN contract seems like unnecessary gatekeeping, but what do I know.
