Hmmm I bought my replacement set at Apple Store Dubai Mall but locally it doesn't seem like they're available. Perhaps send an email to iStore locally to see if they can order a set (the price won't be cheap but cheaper than the whole set)
Mea culpa.Wow.. that was all .. unnecessary.
Apple sells them of course; but for some reason they have no official presence in SA. Core used to be the sole distributor of Apple products in SA.
@genetic - I’m in the UK for a few weeks from next weekend. I can pick you up a set from an Apple Store there and post them when I’m back?

They still are the sole distributor, which is exactly why we don’t see these things as it’s not worth the effort for them to stock.
Same with the Watch bands.
So all the other places selling Apple products locally, all come from Core?
Ahh did not know.Yup. Every single one.
Including the bullshit that is iStore which is owned by Core and run in the retail channel against their own customers.
Ahh did not know.
I wish Apple would open a store here already.
Anyone have any clue as to why we still don't?

Like Prod said, Apple doesn't have much interest in developing an official presence in a third world country like SA, doubly so, I'd imagine, given the current climate.Anyone have any clue as to why we still don't?
