My airtime has gone down by twenty rand since yesterday and I haven't sms'd or called anyone! How can I check what's going on?

R10 of my airtime is gone as well, it is a new SIM so it's quite possible that whoever owned the number before was subscribed to WASP services, but it could also be this. How can I check?

Sounds like a subscription service. You should get a confirmation SMS for the billing though. Best is to follow up with MTN (I work for a WASP and deal with these queries on a regular basis).

Last week I had to sort out the maids phone as her daughter had activated a subscription service on the phone. Had to first wait for an information message before I could find the WASP billing her. Sent stop to the msg and she was unsubscribed.

You guys should be banned. And MTN should be reprimanded for being in cahoots with Wasps. Wasps take money off your SIM every day and you never know for what. I know many people with this problem.
Ask them what you paid for and they can't tell you. If they take your money then they must at least give you SOMETHING for it.

My airtime seems to disappeared every weekend with about R10. I hav called clientservices a few times now and they working on it though. Problem is they never call me back. Its now 2weeks now. Im thinking of cancelling my contract if they dont refund me in full. Its been happening for the last 3 weeks

Dr_Data confirmed it was the airtime that had expired.

Remember guys, top-ups under R10 expire after 20 days, top-ups between R10 and R25 expire after 30 days.
