Airtime/Minutes on Data Sim

Is it possible to get a 10GB or 20GB x 24 month Data contract and recharge with minutes or airtime as needed?

I maybe send at most 1 SMS a year if at all and mostly use Data with a very occasional call here and there, my phone is still single sim so having a separate sim for minutes isn't an option right now.

Looking at My MTNChoice 5gb and 10gb packages

And whether a data sim can be used to make calls in a phone as well

You can load airtime and SMS bundles on to MTNChoice contracts, I am currently on the 10GB contract.
