In this role he led the public and external team, which included all regulatory work, government relations EMF and spectrum policy. Alan was a member of the executive committee of the Vodafone Group from 1997 to 2007, was a board member of the GSM Association, chairman of Vodafone Ventures and chairman of the board of trustees of the Vodafone UK Foundation.
