If anyone with know how on alarm systems could try assist me that would be much appreciated. The security company want to charge me R550 just for a call out regardless if it is their hardware at fault or not.
So basically the alarm system is working fine, they get the signal if the alarm goes off, however the panic button is not working on the remote. When I push the panic button I can hear 2 clicks from the radio box, but nothing happens.
If I press the other button which is to arm the alarm when we leave the house it triggers so I am assuming there is nothing wrong with the remote.
I have opened up the control box and can't see anything untoward so was hoping someone could suggest some solutions.
