I have a number of outdoor motion detectors as part of my alarm. I think the outside units are all VX40's.
The one in the front is giving problems - it triggers every night, never at the same time (Personal opinion - someone's cat is doing it, little **** is even sleeping in a flower pot there)
Now here's the thing - the alarm should be pet friendly, ie - a cat should not trigger it. And it then stays on for at least 5 minutes afterwards. And it doesn't seem to work at night. Now I opened the cover and checked- I can't see any daytime setting, or a delay that I can set. Any advice?
We had a number of armed robberies in the area the past few weeks, so I'd like to sort this out as soon as possible.
