BRACKEN FIBRE UPDATE:
This is an indication of the network that SADV (SA Digital Villages) have acquired from Motheo Construction and will be lighting up in the near Future. We will provide timelines ASAP. But if you fall inside that area, please visit www.signup4fibre.co.za and log your interest in the meantime so that they can contact you. This will be an OPEN ACCESS network, meaning that you will be able to use any of ther 20 ISPs available on their network. NOTE: The map is not final and will likely still be updated further. Please do not ask me if your street is included or not as I don't have that detailed info yet.
⚠ Thanks ⚠
I have been contacted by a company called Blitz Fibre that will be rolling out Fibre to the complexes in New Redruth on the DFA network. I have arranged a meeting for next week with the owners and Blitz Fibre. Holding thumbs that the ball can start get rolling on this.
Blitz Fibre says that they install free of charge and they have an extensive lists of ISPs one can use. I assume they take care of the last mile.
PM me your details. That estate is on net for me.I'm in the ElandsRock Nature Estate in South Crest and have been waiting for fibre for a year now even though I and many other neighbours have shown interest.
I really hope that some form of progress is being made on fibre coverage around here.
