I was fired for drinking during working hours and then going to clients.

It was all in good erm.... spirits. Boss won a big contract and invited us over for a drink. Had to see a client soon after. No ill feelings but wondering over the supposed non aroma of liqour and how to hide it.

Apparently Rum leaves an odour the following day. Luckily I don't plan one seeing too many people tomorrow who I'm concerned about smelling the rummy secretions from my body.

Airwaves, the boiled sweets not the chewing gum. No chance of the client smelling anything, unless in your line of work you need to passionately kiss your clients.

Rum certainly leaves an odour.... Especially the next day after your morning visit to the lavatory...

Funny you should mention this, yesterday I started drinking at 13h00 or so...... consumed three varieties of ale, then went to a church service...... at 17h00 , on the back of mind, will the preacher be able to smell that I had been suiping...


I have known a number of alcoholics in my time, one of them eventually dying from the disease....(she actually phoned me the day before the day she passed on to tell me that she had found God and planned to come back home tomorrow.....)

You can smell white spirits on a person, especially on an alcoholic as they tend to be pickled in the shirt....... white spirits are an evil brew bru!
