Alcohol limit

Oh and Dolby... just as a btw, if you read 0.25mg on a Blood test....
you would have experienced the following things :

0.21–0.29
Behaviour
* Stupor
* Loss of Understanding
* Impaired Sensations
Impairment
* Severe Motor Impairment
* Loss of Consciousness
* Memory Blackout

I'm about 75kg, in my early 30s, exctomorphish, but with somewhat of a beergut. And not moderately unfit. I drink about 2/3 drinks (brandy and coke) every evening. So I would think that my tolerance could be high.

What would be your estimates if I had say 3 glasses of redwine or 3 beers?
What does that word mean? Googling it didn't get me very far.

More on topic: I don't think being inpractice has an effect on the actual blood content. Even if you can tolerate more alcohol in your blood due to your brain having adjusted doesn't mean you won't test over the limit.

A breathalyser reads different and the legal limits for a breathalyzer are different as well.

Blood alcohol is 0.05mg per 100ml if measured via a blood test.
Breatheralyser 0.24mg per 1000ml. So you were ever so SLIGHTLY over the limit, but over the limit none-the-less.
Hmm, didn't realise that there was a factor of 10 difference. Unfortunately for most people, trying to argue maths with a pig isn't going to get you very far. Have there been any instances where they muddled up the two?

Didn't know that either! so would you insist on a blood test in such an instance when they want to lock you up and you blew lets say a 0.20mg?

If you blew 0.20mg they have no reason to do a blood test since you are legally under the limit according to the law.
