I am having a braai this weekend, if the weather holds up, but I am a bit stretched with my budget this month. Do anyone know of lekker specials on alcohol?
I know Checkers had a special a while back, something like R99 for 24 castle's... looking for something like that.

I see they have 24 black labels for R99.99, but it is too far for me to drive (Stellenbosch to Millerton).

Stopped drinking brandy, had way too much. Proper whiskey is way more expensive and I don't do vodka or rum.

I almost always drink black label, because it is the cheapest.

Quarts = ~9litres @R120 less ~R23 for case and bottles = R9/litre or R4.50 a draught
Case = ~8.2litres @R99 (good price, average is ~R115-120) = R12/litre or R6 a draught

Plus, the more you drink the more money you 'earn'
