This afternoon after work I drove through our gates and realized ... "I don't have anything to drink tonight at home".

So I stopped and PnP Liquor and bought me a bottle of the good stuff.

When I got home I saw that apart from the bottle of Jack (I got that as a gift) and bottle of Spiced Gold (also a gift) I already had a bottle of Laffy Bergh brandy in the cupboard.

I know it's Olof Bergh, but if you have known him for as long as I have it's Laffy. That's a joke ... (It's from the movie: Scent of a Woman).

Now I've got two. Splendid.

Goodness gracious.

Alcohol is just a nice thing. Like I said in my original post.

I can drop it within a moment's notice when I've got good enough reason.

I guess my comment was rather general, i do go on the fender bender every now and then but its not very often! Id rather have a cream soda with my supper than a beer or brandy etc... Besides this last weekend i hadnt had a drink since new years pretty much... I may have had one or two drafts in between but not anything that counts.

Well we got something in common then! I also basically only drink to get tipsy or drunk not with meals and stuff like that, however I think as we get older tastes change from sweet to bitter :p
 
I enjoy going out to the Old Bridge in Somerset West. Lovely place to have a few beverages and great atmosphere as well
