yes its refreshed one. The new Revision coming end februarie same specs but skylake cpu. But with current exchange they gona be 10k more expensive.
Its 4720HQ processor
Luckily it was my 30k spend and not yours then
Whats graphics card ?
Could not find a notebook with 980m under 30k only 970 or 965 , alienware i got discount on paid 27k
970 and you won't feel the difference.
You will feel the difference, the 980M vastly out performs the 970M.

Yet I still play all the games that on full.
Benchmarks will show the difference very clearly I agree. But real world feel is unlikely atleast.
Real world differences isn't worth the 8k price difference, atleast not for me. Granted I'm not a very big gamer. Except Dota. I like dota
If you play games like Metro you will feel it, very hard. But i'd rather go for MSI as the GPU's now can be replaced.

2+ years outdated.
And I assume DDR3 not DDR4
And I assume SATA SSD and not M.2
My MSI costs R9k less
i7 6th Gen
16Gb DDR4
Samsung 950 pro
Etc
My gripe here is people buy "branded" stuff, but don't consider the fact that "branded" might be completely overpriced and regret the purchase in the end.
The i7-4720HQ wiped the floor with most of the 5th gen processors, which 6th gen do you have?
Assuming i7-6700HQ?

The i7-4720HQ is better at single core tasks, while the i7-6700HQ consumes less power.
I play metro on the desktop have 2 GTX580's which is nice.
Side Note:
That upgrade kit looks frickin amazing!!! It that limited to the GT range ?
