I'm considering importing the from Aliexpress and would like to hear about your experiences with couriering items from Aliexpress. Specifically, I'm interested in the following:

1. Did the item arrive within the time window stated by Aliexpress?
2. Were there any additional duty or import taxes associated with the delivery?

Depends on what you are importing for it to arrive within time, and yes, duty is payable, but again, depending on what you are importing.

I've had several parcels lost in transit from Aliexpress by SAPO. My brother once tried to order an expensive laptop and chose the courier shipping method; they still ended up sending the parcel through SAPO and he never received it. I don't advise ordering anything from Aliexpress that you can't afford to lose.
