pings arent really looking the best though... has been like this lately, usualy more like i-Guru's pings.

When I've had pings like JasTin's in the past, it has been because I have been handed over to some distant tower. I think the intellicell technology does that sometimes if the distant basestation has a lower load. But the lower contention ratio just never makes up for the crappy signal.

To really get to the bottom of it, though, use uTraceStar.

No, Justin has only one tower to connect to, and thats the Plumbstead one. there is no other tower near eough to us to give signal yet.

Its not that, its just a bad patch for some reason I also get that once or so every month, sometimes. Just restart the connection and all should be okay.

Well rebooting shouldn't be a problem considering it's a UTU, remove usb and plug it back in....I love the 5M cable!

Resllers dont use any tools like UTTracestar, they just check the signal with the default Iburst app that you install on your PC, and the speed with a Telkom speed test.

But nothing stops a techie from using UTTracestar, and Im shure some would use it, its a great tool for your connection.

Justin, its okay i dont care much about my nick.. Oh ja, I forgot you have a USB powered UTU. Pretty useful feature that, you can just reboot your modem from your own PC, I have to go to the other side of my house just to reboot if I think somethings wrong.
