you guys buying this 30 gig accounts are going to be in for a surprise soon, ayce are going to be sending you a letter saying we cannot supply this account anymore lik ethey did with there uncapped,any one remmember that whole saga awhile ago,alce are useing there media coverage to get as much cash as they can before they go to selling per gig prices
 
Yes that uncapped saga was a bit of a mishap. However I don't believe they will pull the plug on this offer as another ISP (SAOL) is also currently advertising their own 30GB accounts.

The SAOL offer is shrouded in this IPC dealio and we haven't really and any clarification on whether or not it's use-it-any-way-you-want bandwidth, or whether it'll be shaped differently. It would be nice if they'd come out and tell us whether it's genuinely comparable with the AYCE offer.
 
In response to your interest in the SAOL 30GB package, which is coming on stream in January, it is not intended to compete with the ayce offer, which is based on the pre-per-gig billing prices, but it is an attempt to offer a cost effective alternative for higher-end users. It might not be suited to P2P applications, but the target market is the mainstream, and we have had to place certain restrictions on applications in order to offer the package at R599.

It's the 27th of the month. If you decide that there will be no P2P at all, will there be time for people to cancel their 30GB packages (and either go back to 10GB or move to AYCE) before they get billed?
 
If need be, we can do the necessary changes, but if P2P is important to you, I would suggest not taking out the account yet, until this has been confirmed, and we have posted it on our website.
