AllCDKey.com - Safe?

purchased with fraudulent credit cards?

I don't find much merit in that article. If for example G2A and Kinguin got all their keys through fraudulent means then they would have been shut down ages ago. I'm sure there are some problematic sellers, but it's in the store's best interest to shut them down since they are the ones stuck in the middle.

What the article doesn't really go into would be regional pricing where Steam/Origin and all the other vendors are trying to maximise profit by raising prices in wealthier areas of the world.

So yeah, just stick to sellers with a high number of positive ratings and you'll be good.

Small purchases like that don't even register on most people's statements, and they don't follow up on investigations since victims are spread around the world. Even Steam suffered from credit card fraud which is why they are strict about what credit cards you can use where. Most of the time it's not worth the effort to follow up since it's up to the issuing bank and the credit companies are too massive to even bother with such a small segment.

Use your credit card and let us know what happens.

Ive bought from them before, cant remember what.

But didnt have any problems. if i did, im sure id remember.

Why not just buy it off battle.net?

The Blizzard store tends to be expensive when compared to other retailers.

AllCDKey has it for $19.62. US Blizz store has it for $19.99, which isn't much of a difference. EU Blizz store has it for €19.99, which makes it between R30 and R40 more expensive.

Personally, I would go for US Blizz. You know where you are buying from, the price difference is very small (< R6) and D3 isn't region locked like WoW, so it isn't a problem buying from the US store.

That website looks like something out of the late 90s - I wouldn't trust them with any of my details - let alone my credit card details.

But if you are feeling brave then go for it... Just keep your bank's fraud department's number of speed dial for just in case...

For a R50 difference I'd just get the one from Blizzard.

If we're talking Blizzard $59.99 vs $19.99 (because they sometimes really don't like discounting older games) then it's a different story.

True, however R 30 - R 40 for peace of mind. No contest.

Clearly some here don't know pp accounts for reselling can be bought... Just because it has a PP option doesn't make it 100% legit.

Blizzard price: 39EUR
G2A: 29EUR

Difference: R151

Not quite R30-R40

:p

A bit late to the thread :p

The link on OP's post is to the main game, not the expansion. That's why I used the €19.99 price.
Looks like the price difference is bigger on newer games.
