Alliance PvP

Only way Alliance wins bgs if you go in with a clued up premade. Otherwise its horde faceroll all the way.

Again this weekend it was Horde pwning Alliance in just about every BG. I don't want to faction change, but to enjoy the game I think that's the only option. We do not have decent PvP guilds that I can join on Alliance side either =/

Funny, I faction changed to Alliance so that I can join a decent PvE guild, now I don't PvE anymore :p

This is basically how things work. People want easy wins.. .not hard wins.. so everyone who wants an easy win goes and stacks horde. That way they get their gear easier and have better looking stats. Team stacking happens in all games. This is how it happens in WoW. I dont want to stack and change factions so I stopped serious PvP.

I foresee a faction change happening for you. Ganna be sad cause you are a super hot PvP player. Perhaps find a PvP guild that does lots of premades? Thats basically like your only option.

Ran into a Worgen called Braaivleis in the BG's the other day, wasn't you was it. It was WSG if I remember and we won easy which is rare for Alliance and why I remember lol.

Nope, wasn't me :p

I really don't want to faction change. Will have to look into joining a PvP guild I suppose. Not a lot of PvP guilds are active on Alliance side on Blade's Edge.

I don't want to faction change to get easy wins, but it takes a team to win and the Alliance side have none of that "team effort". I'm not a huge PvPer, only just started to take it a bit more seriously than a BG now and then in PvE gear :p Now I'm all out PvP and don't even do dungeons anymore (due to tanks and healers quiting after every wipe...)

ROFL. I just reached 85 on my DK and slamming dungeons as tank. Must admit this is harder than I remember, and I am not even at heroics...

That said, I usually leave because of moron dps. Why the hell do Shamans take STR rings, and DPS take spirit rings, ect. I just tell them to have fun and leave and join another group. I also leave when people don't listen and CC when I ask them to. Yes its normal dungeons, but I am also in ilvl 316 gear in the slots where I am lucky, so AoE tanking smashes me to bits to the point where I don't like it. So if people are morons, I leave. Usually though my groups do well, ie. finish in 25mins ending with everyone giving their thanks at the end.

I am pretty sure it is these same morons that you end up with in BGs because they can't do anything other than leech easy items. I don't get why people just slack and suck and slack in this game. Yes it is a game, but for **** sakes man its not that difficult to improve yourself. That is the biggest problem in this game. People who have no direction in life play it, and mess it up for the rest of us that wants to enjoy it in our free time.

Exactly! Same in BG's. If asked why they are taking a flag on their own (say Arathi Basin for argument's sake), then the idiot just says "Because it's fun" or why are they fighting in the middle "Because it's PvP"...pisses me off. I would love to see these guys in rl BG aka war :p

Won 6 WSG BG in a row last night on my lvl 27 Prot Warrior Dwarf. After the first one I just requed and we got most of the same players every game. We had like 4 priests all of them actually healing other players.

When you look at the map all the ally players are in groups and not scattered all over the map or hiding AFK in some corner. Funny thing is there wasn't any /bg chat its like players just knew what to do.

Most fun I've had in BG in very long time.

Yep, that happens sometimes, but not often, sadly.

I had more fun on low levels though...it's as if people who are still leveling know more about the game than the lvl 85's :p

BG at lower levels can be a lot of fun. Before XP in battlegrounds I used to spend a lot of time with some of my toons at the upper end of the bracket only playing BG's, before I leveled them.

nah, I'm seriously going to jump ship. Alliance suck so much at PvP it hurts.

read an interesting post somewhere a while back. it was regarding botting in bgs. and someone said how much better some bots were at pvp than real people. which led to the argument that pvp = pve, due to it being scripted too. whats the moral of the story? pvp = fail :D

lol. I had a Belf rogue chase me around WSG this morning. I turned around and kicked his arse :D Moral of that story, just because someone is running away, doesn't mean he can't kick your arse ^^

Been playing BG's with my 79 mage. All twinked out in lvl 77-79 Cata gear.

Deep Freeze, Frostbolt, Explode. :D

I've only been playing WSG, I think you only get XP for flag cap, so it seems to be the slowest leveling. 5 bars till lvl 80 so the fun will end soon. :(

On Alliance performance in PVP. It seems it depends a lot on what time of day you play. From about 11pm onwards, you get better performances from Alliance.

You can always just turn off XP in BG's to extend your fun

You can, but players with XP turned off is in a different battlegroup and there is not a lot of players playing there so the que is extremely long if there is any que at all.

Early mornings is also a good time to PvP (good, not great). Alliance is a bit of a let down in PvP. Think everyone who PvP's wants to play the bad guys so they join the dark side.

We have cookies too :(

So Im rolling a goblin pvp hunter and I now see why Alliance lose all the time. Honestly I must have had the same druid attack me every time he spawned, and with concussion shot + kiting I was able to kill him very easily... about 6 times in a row. Left with 40 killing blows ... omg.
