Allow internet users to browse a folder on my site??

Okay, brain freeze here. I'm working on a web site project in VWD 2008. In the project,I've created a folder with various subfolders and I want to allow internet users access to their specific folders only, so that they can upload/download into and from this folder. Has someone done this? Can you show me in the right direction?

You need to create access rights depending on their user names.

if your host allows php then theres hundreds of free scripts that can do this, limitations being things on server side post_max size of php.ini, etc

not something all webhosts would easily be willing to change

Ok thanks, do you mean by using the ASP.NET Web Administration tool?

I've never used php so I have no idea how to implement it...although I got a feeling I'm going to have to look into it...
