This weekend for the second time in a week allyoucaneat has been offline, first time they were polite and actualy took my number and called me back to let me know that they are back online, it took about an hour or so, but this morning they crashed again, at around 10:00, its almost midnight now and still i have no ISP

I might be mistaken, but it might be time to move on to a new or just better ISP, i mean how can they be offline for a whole day, phoning them is useless, coz u will just get some rude inexperienced IT wannabe on the otherside that tells u "yes, we know, we have a problem ok?" and then hangs up

What i want to know is this, is anyone aware of problems they have or when they will be back up, if not i would appreciate some suggestions to alternatives for my adsl ISP?

Geez don't know if anybody noticed this, but they actually display the user names of the top 10 traffic users per day on their site. I dont think that is very cool, lucky me im not with them. PunisherSA give webafrica a try, you wont be disapointed.

It their way of promoting the product.
But at least don't display the username, that is one step closer to bandwidth theft.

killadood

i agree atleast dont display username

Yeah anyone that was of a mind to steal bandwidth would go and try common passwords with those usernames. Hell, even try bruteforce cracking if such a thing is possible.

Real smart move by AllYouCanEat.

i think i'll cancel my subscriptions with them and go axxess or webafrica. i too was without internet most of the weekend, almost threw my poor wittle router against the wall thinking it was at fault
