Almost lvl 65

hehe ok... time to confess..
+/- 4300 hours game time behind mine (179 days). Must be honest, with the new expansion coming out, I cant see myself starting over and doing everything from scratch. Thinking on wheter I should just stop hardcore raiding or competely stop once the new expansion comes out.
Oh well... will cross that bridge once I get to it.

As it is now, I would anyway go out drinking with friends or watch TV... playing wow keeps me out of trouble and saves me a lot of money I would have blown on clubbing etc... still go partying weekends, but yea, WoW is a big time killer.

I am so addicted I have to browse these forums during work hours to get my fix...

yeah, im the same, my daily schedule is

get to work, turn on pc, go 2 mybroadband.co.za forums, go to mmo-champ ion.com, browse blizz forums, then look at emails and start work :p

wow guys that's alot of time wasted.

Curious to know how this impact life ie if you are married what does your wife or girlfriend say.

taken my GIRLFRIEND to get from lvl 1-57 took her 8 days !?@?!? :\ and its her second character she has a lvl 70 warrior

Some girlfriends are more understanding than others :P Mine forbids me to touch any game while she's at my place, and the same counts for her. But she also plays Baldur's gate a fair amount, and she just got all 5 of the Myst games and Age of Empires 3 for her bday so she'll be spending some time on that. I used to game away 90% of my free time, but then I went to the UK for a gap year, was stuck without a pc for a few months, and kicked the addiction by going cold turkey ;P These days I just play flash games but I'm downloading America's Army as we speak...might be fun :P

This is damn addictive also :D

My wife doesn't really mind. Just some days when the kids are difficult.

I looked after them on Saturday as mommy went to the Day Spa :o
I think she's into games she just doesn't want to try it. Last night we wiped in Mana Tombs, I was waiting for the Priest to do a corpse run and come res me. She was walking past me to the kitchen and said " Jou lui gat" I then turned around and asked her what is it that I neglected to do this weekend again ? She then said " Nou wag jy vir die Priest op jou lewendig te maak, jou moet ook hardloop jou lui gat"

It caught me so off guard I nearly fainted

She has never played the game or even just sat and watched. She knew what a priest was and the I was going to be res'd  I think she walks past me to much, or I die allot :D

If I were you I would check the other realms there could be a level 70 priest hiding there :p

ROFL definately a keeper you have there.

@WiseCrack - Each to his own. I enjoy playing games or messing around on my PC. Therefore to me its not time wasted. In WoW I have met many new friends which thereafter I've met in RL too.

In the end it's all about finding a balance. Some days I spend with my wife, others with my friends (like the upcoming Fatboy Slim party :D) and the rest I play games or DJ. I don't watch much TV, because your brain becomes a vegetable. Games on the other hand, requires a lot of thought and strategy.

For Dec holidays, I'm going to CPT and my WoW addiction has certainly allowed me to save a lot more money than I usually would.

WRT the guy who's selling his account on Prophecy; big up for him that he realised his addiction had gone too far, before it was too late. Anything can become an addiction (even sports) and there are far more worse addictions than WoW.

My wife always tells me that she'd rather have me at home than every night at the pub with the boys.
