Idea: Share proven and working recipes

I'll start with something very simple. My goto ice cream base

mlbutter milk

Method (I use a stand mixer)
  1. Mix into a bowl the eggs
  2. Add in the condensed milk, vanilla essence, milk and butter milk - mix for 10 mins on slow
  3. Add in the organic cream and double cream - mix on slow until properly combined (±15 mins)
  4. Cover with gladrap plastic, but then you push it onto the mixture so that there isn't any air left between the top and the plastic
  5. Then I add another layer of gladrap plastic and seal it properly
  6. Finally add to fridge for at least 8 hours before use
The bowl itself is metal so that its stays cool for a while when I take it out of the fridge. Finally I use a Krups ice cream maker, and the bowl should be pre frozen for 48 hr at min -18c.
