Alt Ideas

Hey hey

Thinking of getting started on an alt - but cant decide on the class - other than the fact that i dont want to do a spellcasting class, would rather try my hand at a melee class like Warrior, Rogue, or pala.

ANy ideas? which class is the most fun to play?

Saw this imba gnome warrior in WSG yesterday, we won because of him he was killing EVERYTHING - taking on 3/4/5 guys at once and smoking them all.
 
ive always wanted to roll a warrior for pvp...
busy lvling a mage now

I have played about each class but only have a lvl 70 Rogue, and a lvl 54 Warrior. I'm now trying some spellcasters for a change and it's nice :o

If you want to play a Melee first decide what you want your role to be.

Pure DPS, roll a Rogue or a Shammy I know, you said no spell casting but do enchance spec ;)
Pala is good, Protec spec is one of the best tanks I have ever seen
Warrior, Spec Protection of Arms and you'll be on everyones friends list. The moment you log on you'll get 4 /w asking you to tank some instance ;)

All about what you want out of it

For wsg and mellee go feral druid we are imba flag runners.
And imba tanks.
 
Main character is a human mage, busy levelling a draenei shammy.

Enhancement Shammies FTW!
 
Yeah but they make everyone else pack huge dmg too!

Aah I remember when I had a Boomkin and Shammy in my group in Kara as a fire mage - 42.5% spell crit chance!

In your old guild, there was a guy called Vaalpens.

I have never seen any Shammy do so much damage in my life :eek:
But I'll get there someday :o

My former main was Enhance.
I pwned in 5 man, I topped the meters in Kara and was always in the Top 8 on Gruul.

Some fights favour certain classes allowing the meters to swing but you'll find past Kara Enhance DPS starts to lose steam and becomes more and more focused on keeping your group buffed.
You'll still do reasonable DPS but chances are you won't top the Meters.


And yes, I kno Vaal. We had a long chat about gear and spec when I first joined.
 
Bloodelf Rogue FTW! Lotsa fun and new areas to level in. And if you're looking for some PvP action your rogue is going to disappear into the background and sap when they least expect it (good luck getting out of that one)! :D

I'm loving my drood at the moment. Can do anything. It's so nice when someone asks: can you heal tank or dps? and I answer: YES!

Be prepared to loose half your bag space to gear though
 
Strangley enuf im loving retri pally in 2.3!

after getting a hunter to 70, a mage to 70, a rogue to 61, a shammy (enhance woot) to 60 and now a pally to 30... 2shotting mobs with SoC is fun... i can take on 3x 30's at once... and need to heal once in combat <3
