AltCointrader - Funds withdrawn

I noticed an email this morning that 'I'd successfully logged into my AltCointrader account' at 10.30 last night.
I never did, so obviously was concerned and logged in this morning at 7.25 to check my account. Funds were still there and i was relieved.
Had to go out thereafter and only returned about lunchtime to again find another email 'I'd successfully logged into my AltCointrader account' at 9.31 this morning, again it wasn't me as I'd been out.
Concerned I immediately tried to log and a number of times got a ' password incorrect, account blocked' message.
I followed the procedure to reset my password and once able to log in saw all my funds gone, Sold in transaction at at 9.32 this morning.
Just not acceptable!!!!
Even if I was in found of my PC at the time, there is no means of stopping or blocking any transactions with immediate effect if suspicious is suspected.
Only recourse, send email to Altcointrader help line, which may be loked at tomorrow (working hours Mon to Friday) Doesn't help much!!!!
 
You have 2FA on your account?
 
Howcome you didnt get an email to confirm the withdrawal? I did a withdrawal around 2 months ago and I had to confirm via email before it was even processed

I never received any emails regarding withdrawal /sale. Not sure why?

I received the email below this morning although it was sent last night and immediately logged in to check my account. All was intact at 7.31 this morming, only to be cleaned out at 9.31.

A successful login to your AltCoinTrader.co.za account was logged at Sat 8 Jun 2019 22:30

From IP address 94.61.103.151

If you are aware of the login all is well. If you are not please secure your account ASAP!

Strange thing I noticed this morning is that all funds from sales of my Bitcoin, Ethereum, Bitcoin gold etc was used to buy GAS.
The are 40+ buy and sell transactionsin in space of 25minutes showing in Transaction history of GAS, where GAS was bought and sold immediately again for lower price, reducing total value everytime, over 40+ times till value was only R164. Doesn't make sense?
Can anyone maybe explain this, why someone would do this?

As i logged in I got a message regarding security, I clicked on link to try and follow instructions but page froze and I had to close it. Was rushing to appointment. So thought I do it when I got back.

My guess is that somewhere alone the line you got a phishing email, and clicked a link in the email to go to the website and tried to login.
The fake site then captured your login details. Since you do not have 2FA the person then had all the details to get into your account.

RULE 101 of internet banking or anything internet security related,NEVER CLICK ON A LINK IN AN EMAIL AND THEN PUT IN YOUR DETAILS.

Basically that's where you gave them your details.

I'm very suspicious and cautious about everything and aware of phishing , definetly didn't clip on any emails. 100% sure

Either that or there's some malware / keylogger installed and they needed to get OP to log in so they could get passwords.
 
I'd suggest going here, putting in your email address and seeing what else of yours has been compromised and then A) Changing your password and B) Using 2FA where you can with Google Authenticator App
