I had a contract with them that expired 1 december. They said i can only cancel on 28 December as that is the policy i agreed and placed my cancellation on the 10 October. On 27th December i confirmed cancellation will take place on 28th.

Guess what happens on the 31st December the contract gets reactivated.

There's no way im paying these fools. Is it possible to block a debit order?

What's right and what they will do are two different things. Unless you're lucky and they agree to terminate the contact and refund you, you're not going to have an easy battle.

the contract is supposed to be prepaid but they converted to mknth to month. Its really bad service. I activated a data bundle on a friday it was only activated on the following monday. Thank goodness im done with this company

But then you'd need to justify that they don't? Surely it's not worth the hassle and it makes more sense to contact them and make sure they cancel it

The catch is you have to send a letter stating you want to cancel the month before it ends.

Just block all future payments and watch them come after you for a few hundred rand. Tho you did sign the contract

Just to clarify. The contract ended on 01 December. They said they can only cancel on 28 December. I am already out of contract but they are keeping it on month to month

Thankfully they converted my phone to prepaid and cancelled the extra charges
