Altech should eat poo!!

Ok, since when is a company like Altech allowed to call me at my work number, then try to sell me something that "adds value" to my current contract? (I did my contract with Vodacom direct).

This woman (the more i kept saying no thanks, the more stories she came up with), kept telling me ill save more money by taking out their contract along with my current one. :confused::confused: And i get a free phone thats better than my current phone. (some cheapie Nokia, and i have a Samsung G800).

My question...Where can I complain about receiving these calls and messages? Ocleroux? Who can I wine to lad?

ps. Im not blaming vodacom for these telesales poopieheads. :p
 
hehe...i know your pain. I frequently receive calls like that also....i cant remember the company name, but when I answer they always say "Hello, I am phoning from so and so company, Vodacoms biggest dealer"....My response is as follows....."Stop right there...I work for a Vodacom dealer and am not interested...remove me from your data base...bye" and then hang up and wait till next week for them to phone me again and to repeat the same conversation.

I just try to shrug it off.

Seeing that it is Altech, a seperate entity from Vodacom and VSP, I am not sure who to complain to with this one.
 
No problemo. Ill check their site and see. :) I wanna make a stink because ive been holding one in a while now. :p
 
I can't imagine why people still go to these 'resalers' and not the provider's shop (eg. VodaShop) directly. But this is not only Altech, I get numerous calls from Cell C as well. None from MTN or Vodacom.

I took out my contract directly from Vodacom because i dont like places like altech, nashua etc. I even get calls from Cell C people. :erm:

Be glad you don't! :D Ill complain that my complaint hasn't been attended to in due time. :p it piles and piles. ;)

I meant from a customer service point of view. People will still complain about MTN and VodaShop, but the service is MUCH better than Nashua Mobile and Altech for instance.
 
Oh yes, the stories I've heard of those places are scary. :)
 
Just scream to them that you will hunt them down (cos now u have a name and a place of work) and kill them and their entire family... they will not call u:)
