I'd rather just send the ETH to an intl. exchange and trade ETH/ALTCOINS there.

I do all my trading on intl. exchanges - their charts and trading options are so much better than Luno etc. If you're stuck on something specific with a specific exchange let me know

Meh.. had 34500 XVG which I bought for ~$140 .. sold it all off a week ago cos I decided it wasn't gonna go anywhere, then couple days ago crazy John McAfee mentioned it positively in a tweet and now it's going crazy, could've made over $2500 if I'd kept it. 
Won't buy back in again though cos I still think it's actually a crappy coin and I'm pretty sure it's gonna drop hard again.. could be wrong of course.

For me the easiest way is to buy on EtherDelta with an ether wallet and Metamask (DENT/ETH pair). DENT has blown up already and imo will continue to blow up. It is now at 86 on CMC, never thought it would be here and it's just the beginning for this coin. Easy investment for me that has already made good returns
P.S: DENT is getting listed on kucoin tomorrow

My single 1070 and some other measly hardware are going to take 4 to 5 months to find a block, I would like to test from the stage of connection to payout being received and in miner's wallet.

According to https://whattomine.com/coins/213-etn-cryptonight it is currently 7460.91 ETN
Block times and rewards are however not always exact as to whitepaper specifications, eg.
a recently mined block on the network had a reward of "Last Reward: 7377.08 ETN"
while another had:

For Altcointrader, do I need to be verified before being able to deposit, make trades, etc? Or is that just for withdrawal of funds?
