I need to frequently send data to the same e-mail address from a variety of sources.
Normally I do this when logged into my own ISP server. However there are times that I can't access my ISP account and need to use an alternative SMTP server - something like Google, hotmail. But without the limitations set by Google etc

Can anyone suggest an SMTP server that I can access from anywhere in the world?
I don't mind paying!

May I ask what sort of limitations are preventing you from using GMail? Is send volume a problem?

Hi TimTDP,

Why not use a domain as a basis to send out these emails.
The domain SMTP will be accessible not matter where you are so long as you have an internet connection.
The SMTP for the domain will not change based on your location or ISP.

PM me if you would like me to assist or give you further info ;)

You won't find any open SMTP servers, other than gmail / hotmail / ananzi / etc, so the only other option is to use another hosting account(s) for this purpose. You could try and get away with one of those free accounts, but they often have SMTP restrictions to avoid spam problems. Alternatively, get yourself a very cheap hosting account, even one with limited features, to use as backup SMTP
