Alternative Software to connect with besides Vodafone

Hi There,

is there a way to connect to an on-board or 3G dongle without using the Vodafone/Vodacom software.

It seems possible to connect using the 'create a new connection' and using *99# .
The issue is my company is running through an Apn.

Is there anyway to set-up an APN through the above connection or possibly an alternative freeware software
I could try use.

The Vodafone software and the laptops we have seem to have so many issues (no device etc).
Please advise if you have tips.

MDMA again. Alternatively- if Windows has created the RAS connection, just connect directly using it...

MDMA already works with a couple of on-board 3G devices. Is it not detecting your device?
