Does anyone have any good prepaid alternatives to MWEB ADSL which will not use Seacom?
Please post here. Hopefully something which can be bought ad hoc with a CC
and used whenever MWEB (SeaCom) goes down. Thanks.

Note: MWeb have arranged for their ADSL users to switch to SAIX while SEACOM is down.

Reboot your modem, get a new IP, and your'e up and running!

lol

so them telkom bundled gigs do come in handy sometimes. you know telkom internet users have priority on the SAIX link yea?

: )

Telkom? Can you buy prepaid with CC? Is it cheaper than WA R69 per GB? That WA I assume is SAIX traffic?

Not that I've done it yet (AH uncapped), but I understand it can be done by CC for around R64/gb. I'm not sure if it is only for existing Telkom ISP customers only...

They also have standard prepaid (no expiry) which is R37/gb, not cheap but at least it is working.

They do? Sorry can't seem to find it. Just their prepaid R150 for 30 days and up broadband passes.
