Alternative to Skype

Looks decent enough - might even give it a try.

Perhaps you can ask a mod to move this thread to the new VOIP section? Its nice to be able to compare different offerings in one place.
 
I still skype is better than gizmo...

All though i do like the SIP compatibility built into Gizmo
 
The Gizmo's incoming number package is too expensive for my tastes $5 per month (€4.15) or $50 per year compared to SkypeIn's $36 per year. On top of that I've not had any need to go elsewhere - skype works for me.
 
I find skype to be far more stable as well, gizmo outbound calls to mobile phones often dont connect. Never had problems with Skype
