i am sure this has been asked beore and entertained but what is the best alt to the trial we have in the market place for Microsoft office.

where do i start looking, i want the whole thang editing creating and viewing
2007 and above

kindly redirect and help a brother :whistle:

If the Market allows you to purchase applications, yes, you can. However, standard (unrooted) Android phones can't do so yet in South Africa. The price is $14.99, and you get it here: http://www.dataviz.com/products/documentstogo/android/index.html - and you can get the viewer edition free (can view but not edit docs).

I originally purchased this above QuickOffice, because it supported Office 2007 documents, and not just Office 2003. However, that's been fixed in the meantime and QuickOffice is cheaper: http://www.quickoffice.com/quickoffice_connect_suite_android/

I suggest you try both and see which you like better.

No need to root. You can just purchase it directly from the vendor and install it.
