Alternatives to Freelancer?

Are there any good alternatives to Freelancer?
We're looking for an experienced Django / Python dev for a short term contract but were wondering where the best places to advertise are these days. We'll likely try here (MyBB) but thought there might be better options for short term contracts.

Toptal has been sending me a few messages to join their network. Not sure if they are good or not. It seems to be international so you will pay USD. Otherwise there are a few people on MyBB who freelance. @Charly Is the only one I remember but there are a few more.

Gumtree perhaps. Not sure it's much like Freelancer but it's free.

I know gumtree have a jobs section but I think there are better alternatives such as indeed or linkedin. Just create a job advertisement and state that it is contract work
