Always having problems streaming....

That stream above I use to listen to often... for almost a year now. They upgraded the stream to 128kbps, and moved it to port 8024 instead of 8000. Since then I cant listen more than 8 seconds before its always buffering.

Everyone else says its fine for them listening, and there is no buffering... how do I actually get it not to buffer?

Yup, using winamp, but seems that the connection will simply not put more than like 8kb per second through with occasional bursts at around 12 - 20.

is the Telkom network really that bad that it wont stream something @ 128kbs?

Im not happy that I cannot simply stream a station like this... especially if you paying so much for the international access as it is.

both SAIX Shaped and Unshaped does it. Kinda strange. If you listen to the station in the middle of the night versus afternoon it plays. hinting at a networ issue.. if its working for you guys then I guess its my system.

try streaming something else on winamp, if it works then you know the problem comes from their side and not your side

tried listening now and i get a 401 service not available hehe
