Am I getting 512 kb/s ?

Up-TO speed :-(

This is what i get with a 512kb line 47.7kb download....I think i must rather down-scale...just to get my monies worth...These guys are ripping me :-((
...should get AT LEAST 54-57KB......How can a guy get hold of these ppl?? is 080 0375 375 the correct no??

Right, I just have to ask something:

I have a 384 package with TelkomInternet and pay the 384 Line Rental. i think something is wrong, though, because my download speeds are 50 odd kbps. When I went to check in my modem cp it told me my download rate is 512 kbps and my upstream rate is 320. Can anyone explain THAT!?

Telkom give 384k users 512k and they give 512k users 640k... they do this to gaurentee speeds over attenuated lines.

50k is very good for a 384k line, I usually get 60 - 70 and often more on my 512k line.

That number is correct... good luck getting though, I have timed an average response of 11mins during the week.

I recon you'd prolly get similar speeds over a 384k line considering that telkom will limit you down to 512 from 640, which is faster than 47kbps.
